The plant is located in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India. Amal Ltd was promoted by Piramal Group in 1974-75; the controlling interest of the Company was sold to Atul Ltd in 1985-86. The Company has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary Amal Specialty Chemicals Ltd on October 12, 2020.
